Why all the jihadi attacks? Why now?

Way back in February of 1998, Osama Bin Laden declared a Jihad against Jews and Crusaders in a written document entitled the “World Islamic Front Statement.”

In that document he specifically stated:

“The ruling to kill the Americans and their allies — civilians and military — is an individual duty for every Muslim who can do it in any country in which it is possible to do it.”

Despite this, with just a few notable exceptions over the years, few Muslims answered Bin Laden’s call to kill Americans.

Bin Laden was of course killed by U.S. Special Operations forces in May 2011.

Since then, we have seen many more attacks here in the U.S.

Why? If Osama Bin Laden was not able to inspire Muslims to attack and kill Americans, why are we seeing so many such attacks in recent years? Such as:

• The Orlando night club massacre

• The San Bernardino massacre

• The Chattanooga massacre

• The failed Garland, Texas attack

• The Queens, New York hatchet attack on police officers standing on a street corner

• The Philadelphia attack on a police officer sitting in his squad car

• The Moore, Oklahoma beheading of a grandmother at the hands of a Muslim co-worker

These are just a few of the incidents in recent years that have, unfortunately, been categorized as “lone wolf” terrorist attacks by our recalcitrant news media.

In fact, the term “lone wolf” does not exist in Islamic doctrine. What DOES exist in Islamic doctrine is the fact that Jihad is an individual as well as a collective obligation.

What we are seeing are in fact individual acts of Jihad–acts of war, not criminal acts. We continue to deny this at our peril. There is a doctrinal basis for the enemy that is waging war against us. This form of warfare does not require formal ties between fighters or units (organizations) waging the war.

The concept of Jihad being an individual obligation is longstanding and has its basis in mainstream Islamic law (Shariah). We can see this from a widely-read and used text of Shariah sold annually at the convention of the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA), the largest Muslim organization in the United States, which was named as an unindicted co-conspirator in the largest terrorism financing prosecution in U.S. history: the U.S. v the Holy Land Foundation. In that trial, ISNA was identified as a Muslim Brotherhood front group. Interestingly, ISNA’s Canadian wing was shut down in 2013 for funneling money to a Jihadist terrorist group in Kashmir.

Southern command warns Sunni extremists freely cross U.S. border with help of S. American alien smugglers

(WASHINGTON FREE BEACON) — Sunni extremists are infiltrating the United States with the help of alien smugglers in South America and are crossing U.S. borders with ease, according to a U.S. South Command intelligence report.

The Command’s J-2 intelligence directorate reported recently in internal channels that “special interest aliens” are working with a known alien smuggling network in Latin America to reach the United States. The smuggling network was not identified.

Army Col. Lisa A. Garcia, a Southcom spokeswoman, did not address the intelligence report directly but said Sunni terrorist infiltration is a security concern.

“Networks that specialize in smuggling individuals from regions of terrorist concern, mainly from the Afghanistan-Pakistan region, the Middle East, and East Africa, are indeed a concern for Southcom and other interagency security partners who support our country’s national security,” Garcia told the Washington Free Beacon.

“There are major hubs that serve as entry points into the region for migrants from those areas of concern attempting to enter the U.S. along our border with Mexico,” she said.

The infiltrators from terrorist states and unstable regions exploit vulnerabilities in commercial transportation systems and immigration enforcement agencies in some of the countries used for transit, Garcia said.

“In 2015, we saw a total of 331,000 migrants enter the southwestern border between the U.S. and Mexico, of that we estimate more than 30,000 of those were from countries of terrorist concern,” she said.

Another problem in dealing with migrants from the Middle East, North Africa, and South Asia is a lack of information among the governments of the countries used by potential terrorists for transit.

The exploitation of alien smuggling networks by terrorists until recently had been dismissed by both American security officials and private security experts as largely an urban myth.

However, the Southcom intelligence report revealed that the threat of Islamist terror infiltration is no longer theoretical. “This makes the case for Trump’s wall,” said one American security official of the Southcom report. “These guys are doing whatever they want to get in the country.”

CIA officer: Obama is a Muslim agent with Brotherhood ties to take down USA

Clare Lopez is a former CIA officer, and she is risking her professional career to call out President Barack Obama in a big way.

Lopez is respected in the intelligence community and worked in the Reagan White House. After two decades in the field with the CIA, and as a special forces instructor and intelligence students, Lopez now works with the Center for Security Policy and managers the counter-jihad and Shariah programs.

Now, she says Obama is why America has “switched sides” during the war on terrorism. America is now supporting the enemy through the Muslim Brotherhood.

Lopez has not spoken in public, but confided with a few people in the House of Representatives of her concerns about Obama’s motivations about foreign policy decisions.

Lopez noted that the war on terrorism has been about stopping the spread of Shariah Islamic law, until Obama started to make changes that support the Muslim Brotherhood’s jihadist interests.

She said the global war on terror was an effort to “stay free of Sharia,” or repressive Islamic law, until the Obama administration started siding with jihadist groups like the Muslim Brotherhood and its affiliates.

Why this switch?

Lopez explained, when the so-called Arab Spring appeared in late 2010, “It was time to bring down the secular Muslim rulers who did not enforce Islamic law. And America helped.”

And why would Obama want to do that?

As she told WND earlier this month, Lopez believed the Muslim Brotherhood has thoroughly infiltrated the Obama administration and other branches of the federal government.

She also came to the conclusion Obama had essentially the same goals in the Mideast as the late Osama bin Laden: “to remove American power and influence, including military forces, from Islamic lands.”

2,800 U.S. mosques called ‘ticking time bombs’

The estimated 2,800 mosques in the United States are “ticking time bombs” for Islamic terrorism, according to experts.

All U.S. states have at least one mosque each with California and New York topping the list with more than 500 mosques followed by Texas with more than 300, WND reported.

The report said as the number of mosques increases, Islamic terrorist acts also increase in the U.S.

The problem lies in the mosque, experts said.

According to Dr. Mark Christian, president and founder of the Global Faith Institute, about 80 percent of the 2,800 U.S. mosques are under the supervision of the Muslim Brotherhood, whose goal is to make nations comply with Shariah law.

“You have a new mosque opening every week in America,” said Christian, a former Muslim who converted to Christianity.

Christian, living in Nebraska under the threat of a fatwa, explained that FBI and other U.S. intelligence agencies don’t understand the source of Islamic violence.

For years, he said, they study links between Muslims and al-Qaeda or Islamic State when they should be looking into mosques and learning about Quran and hadiths.

Christian said what is being taught in majority of Muslim nations is spiritual salvation.

“The problem is you have law enforcement agents walking into a mosque but they are looking for the wrong thing,” he said. “They are trying to monitor mosques (back when they were allowed to do that before President Obama) to try to find dirt and what they will find [are] people seeking spiritual salvation, something all of us will look at as an honorable thing, but they are missing the ticking bomb.”

He said the key is how a Muslim finds his salvation.

Christian said the common thing among the 9/11 hijackers, the Boston bombers, the Chattanooga shooter, the attackers on the Charlie Hebdo magazine, and the Paris and Brussels’ attackers, is that they are a group of young men whose lifestyles were not pious.

They were not practising the five pillars of Islam which all good Muslims must observe.

He said there are Muslims who have fallen away from the faith and are considered sinners looking for a way out.

Christian said the mosque provides the vital link “from sinner to salvation” for the Muslim and their imam will offer two choices.

He said the facial expressions of the suicide bombers who targeted the Brussels airport provided clues to their motivation.

“The confidence you see of those guys walking calmly to their own death as they push their carts, they are not trying to blow up the airport to make the ISIS leader proud any more than the 9/11 terrorists were flying their planes into a building so they can make Osama bin-Laden proud,” he said. “They are doing it to please their own Allah so they can gain salvation.”

He said the mosque is the central part in the cycle of terrorism as it links the sinner and terrorist.

“He walks in as a sinner who has neglected his spiritual duties under Islam and is told this is what you need to do,” he said. “The imam does not tell him to go blow himself up, he just shows him the life of Muhammad and says this is what you need to emulate.”

‘Sophisticated network’ of radical mosques in U.S. aspire ‘to implement Shariah governance, establish a global Islamic caliphate’

(WND) — French Interior Minister Bernard Cazeneuve called for the “dissolution” of radical mosques following last week’s terrorist attacks in Paris that killed 130 people. Belgium’s Prime Minister, Charles Michel threatened similar action in his country where the attacks were staged.

Neither President Obama nor other officials in his administration, however, have spoken of shutting down radical mosques in the U.S. But U.S. reticence about taking actions now being implemented by France and Belgium isn’t for a lack of mosques in this country in which hatred for American values and support for jihad terrorism are regularly heard.

There are more than 80 radical mosques are in the U.S., according to the Clarion Project, a non-profit group that describes itself as “dedicated to exposing the dangers of Islamist extremism.”

Using Clarion’s definitions, The Daily Caller News Foundation has mapped these radical mosques in an effort to aid readers seeking to understand the extent of radical Islamic voices in this country.

These mosques or their leading clerics have radicalized attendees to become terrorists, supported terrorist organizations, made radical Islamist remarks or hosted others that have, or are financially backed by radical individuals or organizations.

“Islamist extremists have developed a sophisticated network of interconnected organizations across America,” according to Clarion. “The common thread among these organizations is their ideology of political Islam, which aspires to implement Shariah governance and to establish a global Islamic caliphate.”

The FBI declined to tell The DCNF if the nation’s top law enforcement agency has a similar list.

The map includes 83 – or nearly 4 percent – of the 2,106 mosques in the United States as of 2010.

Mosques from Clarion Project’s list were excluded if The DCNF could not verify their addresses. These include Islamist communes like Islamberg in New York.

Several mosques on the Clarion Project’s list stand out.

Dar al-Hijrah, located just outside Washington in Falls Church, Virginia, for example, was the place of worship for two of the 9/11 hijackers. This mosque’s present Imam, Shaker Elsayed, described Muslim Brotherhood founder Hassan al-Banna’s teachings as “the closest reflection of how Islam should be in this life.” The Brotherhood “seeks to implement Shariah-based governance globally,” according to the Clarion Project.

Al Qaeda leader threatens: ‘The U.S. doesn’t know what’s coming its way.’

(BROOKINGS INSTITUTE via NEWSWEEK) — After an unprecedented 11 months of silence, Ayman al-Zawahiri, the emir of Al Qaeda, this week issued a video message proclaiming his loyalty to the new head of the Afghan Taliban, Mullah Akhtar Mansoor. The almost 10-minute long message dramatically reaffirms the alliance between Al Qaeda and the Taliban, a setback for efforts to bring the Taliban into a political process.

The video was released by Al Qaeda’s media arm As-Sahab, meaning “in the clouds” or an allusion to the jihadi symbolism that Al Qaeda operates in the mountains of the Hindu Kush.

According to the Pakistan newspaper Dawn, As-Sahab recently relocated its real ground game from Pakistan (where it has been operating since 2002) back to Afghanistan in Helmand province. The Afghan Taliban supported the move and provides safe haven for Al Qaeda, which means 14 years after Operation Enduring Freedom began, Al Qaeda is again running operations out of Afghanistan.

Al-Zawahri’s message underscores that Al Qaeda remains close to the Taliban. According to Dawn, a senior As-Sahab official, Qari Abu Bakr, said “the bond between us and our Taliban brothers is a solid ideological bond. The Taliban opted to lose their government and family members just to protect us. There is no question of us moving apart now after going through this war together.” In a warning to the United States, he says, “Our common enemy does not know what is coming its way.”

In his new message, al-Zawahri eulogizes Mullah Mohammad Omar, the founder of the Taliban, as a hero of the global jihad along with Osama bin Laden and Abu Musab al-Zarqawi. Mullah Omar is lauded by al-Zawahri for creating the first true Islamic emirate since the fall of the Ottoman Empire a century ago. He makes no mention of reports Mullah Omar died two years ago in a Pakistan hospital in Karachi under the protection of the Pakistani intelligence service, the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI).
