Fears of Islamic State’s long game persist as caliphate crumbles

(VOA) — By Jeff Seldin

Across much of Iraq and parts of Syria, the Islamic State terror group is in retreat. Yet, Iraqi and U.S. officials tell VOA they have a creeping fear that the larger war is still very much undecided.

To be clear, few worry IS will again be able to make the kind of sudden, massive land grab it did in 2013 and 2014 when, bolstered by tens of thousands of foreign fighters, it captured one Iraqi city after another.

Rather, they fear something more subtle: that the resilient terror group has played the long game well enough that even as its self-declared caliphate teeters on the verge of collapse, it will be a force to reckon with for some time to come.

“They have sleeper cells. They have networks,” Najmaldin Karim, the governor of Iraq’s Kirkuk province, said during a recent visit to Washington. “They exist everywhere.”

The extent to which IS has permeated Iraqi society, despite losing its grip on upward of 65 percent of the territory it once controlled, is difficult to estimate. But Iraqi and U.S. officials caution that IS has found ways to slip past even the most watchful eyes.

Teenage fighters

Perhaps the terror group’s most successful and insidious tactic is its use of teenagers, young enough to avoid suspicion but old enough to be highly effective. U.S. and Iraqi officials describe them as the first wave of brainwashed youth truly capable of serving IS’s cause.

“Those who were 14 or 15 years old when ISIS came, now they are very active,” Karim said, describing them as hardened veterans.

‘Very ominous warning’ from Turkish strongman just ‘a preview’

(WND) — Turkish citizens living in Europe are heading to the polls this week to vote on a referendum calling for expanded powers for Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

Members of Turkish expatriate communities in Germany, France, Austria, Denmark and Switzerland are able to cast their ballots between March 27 and April 9 at Turkish consulates.

When Turkish ministers from the ruling Justice and Development Party infamously tried to campaign for the referendum in Germany and the Netherlands, officials in those countries barred them from doing so, citing security concerns.

The moves prompted Erdogan to fly into a rage and declare: “If Europe continues this way, no European in any part of the world can walk safely on the streets. Europe will be damaged by this.”

Germany might have been able to brush aside the threat if it weren’t home to a sizable Turkish population. Roughly 3.7 percent of the country’s 82 million residents are Turks, and 1.4 million of those Turks are eligible to vote in the referendum.

Philip Haney, a former Customs and Border Protection officer who co-authored “See Something, Say Nothing: A Homeland Security Officer Exposes the Government’s Submission to Jihad,” said it’s an ominous sign for Europe that Turkish ministers felt the need to go into European countries to campaign for a Turkish referendum in front of Europe’s large Turkish population.

“It tells me they view Europe as an extension of their territory, of their sovereignty, of their influence,” Haney told WND. “This is a preview of what we can expect in the time ahead: an inordinate amount of malevolent influence exerted by rulers of countries, in this case in the Middle East, interfering with the sovereign authority of countries in Europe directly, no pretense.”

Erdogan’s threats amount to nothing less than a breach of European sovereignty, in Haney’s view. He noted German and Dutch leaders had the right, as leaders of sovereign nations, to deny entry to the Turkish ministers if they believed their presence would threaten public security.

“Erdogan’s saying that non-Muslim countries don’t have sovereign rights,” Haney said. “He’s saying, ‘If you do something we don’t like, there might be war.’”

Unfortunately, because there are so many Turks living in Europe, European leaders have no choice but to take Turkey’s threats seriously, according to Haney.

“Look what happened when these countries said, ‘No, no campaigning for Turkish leaders in our country.’ What happened?” Haney asked rhetorically. “They had riots.

“These people are supposedly the equivalent of lawful permanent residents, green-card holders. They’re supposed to be pledging allegiance to the countries that they’re going to, not making a fifth column for Turkey, and that’s why they didn’t let the Turkish ministers in. And Erdogan is threatening, ‘Look, this is what we can do. We can have riots in your cities. One word from me and they will break out into the streets.’ A very ominous warning.”

Your government is not doing all it can to protect you – hear it straight from a DHS whistleblower. Get “See Something, Say Nothing: A Homeland Security Officer Exposes the Government’s Submission to Jihad” now at the WND Superstore!

Michael Maloof, a former senior security policy analyst in the office of the secretary of defense, agreed Europe must take Erdogan very seriously because of the large Turkish diaspora residing in Europe.

“What happened was that by preventing the Turkish leaders from coming in, it got the Turkish diaspora – those are the expatriates living in Europe – to rise up to defend Erdogan in effect,” Maloof told WND.

Battlefield Europe: The flooding with Muslims is deliberate

(ROGUE MONEY) — During a recent trip abroad I had the privilege to witness the demise of the European Union first hand. While visiting Malmo, Sweden and Rome, Italy I witnessed first hand the conditions in these vastly different cities. The only common denominator between them is their reputation for being the cultural epicenters of their countries and the hopeless attitudes of their citizens.

While the presence of Muslim migrants was much more pronounced in Malmo, Rome too had its’ fair share of immigrants from Islamic countries. I spoke with the native born youth in both cities and even ventured into some Muslim communities (something I would not have felt safe doing without being in the company of my Arabic speaking friends who knew the lay of the land better than I).

Unlike poor neighborhoods or “ghettos” in the United States where the common denominator is socio-economic, these Muslim neighborhoods were clearly a “no-go zone” for non-believers aka “infidels.” These immigrants are by no means looking to assimilate into their host country’s culture and that is the underlying issue. Even when speaking to moderate Muslims who had migrated to Europe before the present influx, once they knew they were speaking to another Middle Easterner they were quite open about their feelings. They hope that one day Sharia law will be the law of the land and most feel that in time Islamic adherents and their culture will be the majority in Sweden, Italy and all of Europe for that matter.

When discussing the immigration issue with native Swedes and Italians, many feel that this influx of Muslim migrants is not only being handled poorly by the EU but is being handled that way on purpose.

Many Europeans point at the inaction of Dr. Angela Merkel and her Christian Democratic Union (CDU) party, but many feel the plot goes deeper, much deeper. While I did not visit Germany, many Europeans feel that Merkel’s initial policies (dating back to January of 2015) that allowed for over one million “Syrian refugees” to migrate and seek asylum in Germany started a trend followed by the rest of the European Union.

Despite growing pressure on Merkel to get tough with expulsion policies, little has been done by Germany and other EU countries. Christian Social Union (CSU) MP Hans-Peter Friedrich, who was a former Interior Minister in Merkel’s Government said:

Allowing rejected asylum seekers to dance around the state like this is destroying the confidence of citizens in the capacity of the state to act.

So why would Angela Merkel commit political suicide by instigating the migration of millions of Muslims into Germany with generous welfare and housing initiatives? Merkel is just a puppet doing the bidding of those who started the European Union in the first place.

“Order out of chaos” is the well-known adage of the “New World Order” and the next step in globalization is the eradication of the diverse cultures of Europe and the end of the nation state.

“The entire continent of Europe is being inundated with refugees at a rate unprecedented in world history. This is no longer just a “refugee crisis.” This is a “hijrah”.

Hijrah, or jihad by emigration, is, according to Islamic tradition, to emigrate in the cause of Allah – that is, to move to a new land in order to bring Islam there. Hijrah is considered in Islam to be a highly meritorious act. “And whoever emigrates for the cause of Allah will find on the earth many locations and abundance,” says the Qur’an.

The first Hijrah migration is the journey of Muhammad and his followers from Mecca to Yathrib, later renamed by him to Medina, in the year 622 CE. It was after the hijrah that Muhammad for the first time became not just a preacher of religious ideas, but a political and military leader.

This occasion started his new “revelations” exhorting his followers to commit violence against unbelievers. Significantly, the Islamic calendar counts the hijrah, not Muhammad’s birth or the occasion of his first “revelation,” as the beginning of Islam. This implies that Islam is not fully itself without a political and military component.

Evidence that the current refugee crisis in Europe is a modern day hijrah and not simply a humanitarian crisis that mainstream media would like you to believe, came subtly in February 2015 if you knew where to look, but the media paid little note at the time and was almost immediately forgotten, except by a handful of religious scholars and Islamic terrorism experts.

In February 2015, The Islamic State published a document entitled, “Libya: The Strategic Gateway for the Islamic State.” Gateway into Europe, that is: the document exhorted Muslims to go to Libya and cross from there as refugees into Europe. This document tells would-be jihadis that weapons from Gaddafi’s arsenal are plentiful and easy to obtain in Libya – and that the country “has a long coast and looks upon the southern Crusader states, which can be reached with ease by even a rudimentary boat.”

This “migration” will transform Germany, Sweden, Italy and the wrest of Europe, forever, overtaxing the welfare economies of even the wealthiest nations and altering the cultural landscape beyond recognition. Yet the serious public discussion that needs to be had about this crisis is shouted down by the usual leftist “politically correct” nonsense and cries of “racism.”

However, Islam, like Christianity is not associated with just one race or nation state. While Arabic speaking nations are most associated with the religion but there are more Muslims in Asia than there are in the Middle East. A religion with over a billion adherents cannot be type cast as belonging to only one culture or nationality.

The Elite aka the Illuminati are blatantly using Islam to accomplish their goals. Albert Pike openly stated that “Islam will be the central component in a war against the West, and that the Illuminati will lead Islam into direct confrontation with the West.” Pike wrote this prior to World War I and World War II and we know how accurately he described the rational and eventual outcomes of those two world conflicts.

We have already seen what the New World Order has done with Islam, and that is to foment a crisis, escort millions of Muslims to European nations, set up Sharia courts, target European women with sexual assault and rape, and do nothing in the wake of terrorist attacks in Brussels, Belgium and Paris, France. But it’s all been planned, setting the stage for WW3. Just as they set the stage for WW1 and WW2.

As we get closer to Beltane (the high holy days of the Illuminati) that start on April 20th (Hitler’s birthday) and ending on May Day (May 1st) or April 30th, Walpurgis Night, the Dutch and German name for the night of April 30th (the night Hitler committed suicide).

In Germanic folklore Walpurgisnacht, also called Hexennacht, literally “Witches’ Night”, is believed to be the night of a witches’ meeting on the Brocken, the highest peak in the Harz Mountains, a range of wooded hills in central Germany between the Elbe and Wesser rivers. Local variations of Walpurgis Night are observed throughout Europe (and America) by the Elite.

Virtually every year a tragedy occurs between April 20th and May 1st. (The Waco and Columbine Massacres, Ruby Ridge, Oklahoma City Bombing, the BP Oil Spill, to name just a few). Be on the look out for “false flag” attacks and tragedies in general during this time period. I wouldn’t be surprised if a terrorist attack somewhere in Europe or something else to push the globalist agenda forward happens during this time period.

Truth seekers and patriots the world over need to be mindful of the Elite’s plans for Europe, America and anything that pushes the New World Order agenda closer to fruition. Stay vigilant and watch the stock market for signs of erratic behavior on the S&P (unusual option calls etc.).

Europe as we have known it since 1945 will no longer exist by 2020. Truth be told, it no longer exists now.

Australian Islamist leader says all former Muslims should be put to death

(DAILY MAIL) — By Stephen Johnson

A leader of a hardline Islamist group which campaigns for sharia law says Muslims who leave the religion should be put to death.

Hizb ut-Tahrir spokesman Uthman Badar was frank when asked about the group’s policy at a forum in Bankstown, in Sydney’s south-west, on Saturday night.

‘The ruling for apostates as such in Islam is clear, that apostates attract capital punishment and we don’t shy away from that,’ Badar said in the presence of children. An apostate is someone who decides to leave Islam.

His extraordinary admission was exclusively captured on camera by Daily Mail Australia and the matter has now been referred to the Australian Federal Police by Justice Minister Michael Keenan.

Hizb ut-Tahrir Australia removed references to that apostasy policy from its website as Alison Bevege, a freelance journalist, sued the group for making her to sit in a women’s-only section at a separate talk in October 2014.

On Saturday night, Ms Bevege held up a printed copy of Hizb ut-Tahrir’s draft constitution of the khilafah state published on the UK site, which was on the group’s Australian website until 2015.

This outlines their vision for a global Islamic caliphate, which has Muslims and non-Muslims living under sharia law.

She asked about their policy of killing people born as Muslims who leave the faith.

Hizb-ut Tahrir is a hardline Islamist group which seeks the establishment of a global caliphate, or empire.

The extremist group is said to reject democracy, secularism and all Western models of state.

Former prime minister Tony Abbott called for the group to be shut down in 2014, but the ban was never put in place.

A spokeswoman for Justice Michael Keenan told Daily Mail Australia the ‘execution’ matter had been referred to the Federal Police.

The organization is banned in a number of Muslim-majority countries.

Article 7c of the document said: ‘Those who are guilty of apostasy (murtadd) from Islam are to be executed according to the rule of apostasy, provided they have by themselves renounced Islam.’

Badar initially responded by saying the policy wasn’t on its website before explaining how the group’s apostasy policy was compatible with Islam.

‘The whole thing covers different aspects of Islamic sharia law,’ he said.

‘The role of apostasy in Islam is very clear. Again, this is one of the things the West doesn’t like and seeks to change the role of apostasy.’

A spokeswoman for Justice Minister Michael Keenan condemned language that incites or advocates violence.

‘Language that incites or advocates violence is not freedom of speech,’ the spokeswoman said.

Vicar of Baghdad: ‘It is over, no Christians will be left’ in Iraq

(CREEPING SHARIA) — He is one of the world’s most prominent priests, but Canon Andrew White – known as the “Vicar of Baghdad” – has reached a painstaking conclusion: Christianity is all but over in the land where it all began.

“The time has come where it is over, no Christians will be left. Some stay Christians should stay to maintain the historical presence, but it has become very difficult. The future for the community is very limited,” White told Fox News this week. “The Christians coming out of Iraq and ISIS areas in the Middle East all say the same thing, there is no way they are ever going back. They have had enough.”

Thirty years ago, there were approximately 1.4 million Christians in Iraq. The number dwindled to around 1 million after the fall of Saddam Hussein in 2003, and a year ago it was estimated that there were less than 250,000 left. Numbers have continued to decline as families flee, and today even approximate figures are difficult to obtain.

“If there is anything I can tell Americans it is that your fellow brothers and sisters are suffering, they are desperate for help,” he said. “And it is not just a matter of praying for peace. They need a lot – food, resources, clothes, everything. They need everything.”

For decades, Christians endured persecution in Iraq by hardline extremists as infidel “people of the book” – but their fate became significantly more dire in 2014 after ISIS overran Mosul and the many ancient Christian villages surrounding the city. Thousands of families overnight were forced to flee their home, and while some have sought refuge in the northern Kurdish region, many have left the country altogether.

“A lot of these guys I have known before they were ISIS, when they were part of militias like ‘Sons of Iraq,’” he said. “They operate in secret cells all over Baghdad, and the harder the Iraqi Army attacks Mosul, the more they attack Baghdad.”

And, White stressed, there simply isn’t a “safe” way to work with them.

“It is important to find ways to engage with them, to look into their philosophies. I tried to invite some of the ISIS jihadists to dinner once,” he added. “They told me they would come, but that they would chop my head off afterwards. I didn’t think it would be a nice way to end a dinner party.”

Turning kids into killers: Islamic State creates lost generation of Iraqi youth

(MIDDLE EAST EYE) — Mosul, Iraq – Hasan thought he had seen everything after fighting Islamic State in Fallujah in Tikrit. Then he came to Mosul, and a boy no older then 10 tried to kill him.

“It was utterly shocking,” said the 40-year-old soldier, dragging nervously on a cigarette as he remembers the child among a group of young IS suicide bombers.

“I found myself in front of children full of hatred. They all had explosive belts and they were all ready to die. It isn’t anything like killing an adult. But we had to do it.

“It’s a cruelty that has no end. For us it is a violent pain, we know we have to fight against children who have been indoctrinated in the name of a sick religion.”

This is the reality of war in northern Iraq, where IS is throwing everything – and everyone – at Iraqi forces as they slowly take back Mosul and the surrounding areas in a bitter war that has destroyed the very social fabric of the city.

Children have been spared nothing: poverty, malnutrition and cruelty under IS control; then forced onto the frontlines to be used as spotters, fighters, human shields and suicide bombers as the battles began to rage.

These are tactics that have destroyed family life in the city and its surrounding villages, where IS scooped up youngsters to teach them the ways of their “Caliph”.

In Hamam al-Alil, south of Mosul, Amir tells Middle East Eye of his own son, Mushak, who swore allegiance aged 11 soon after IS arrived in 2014.

“My children had never gone to school,” he said, his face a contortion of fatigue and pain.

“When Daesh arrived my son was a boy full of anger, he could not read or write. They taught him the hatred of the infidels. They taught him to kill.

“In two-and-a-half years he became a soldier of the Islamic police. He wasn’t even 14. I tried to stop him swearing allegiance to the Caliph, and he told me: ‘Shut up or I’ll cut your head’.”

“One day he came home with a gun and threatened me – an armed child who comes into the house saying I cannot criticise Daesh – and broke his mother’s arm as she begged him to stop.”

All villages had recruiters, said Amir, adding that more than half of the children of Hamam al-Alil have been recruited, many of them never been seen again.

Amir has lost his son: “I’m not scared he is dead. I do not care. Mushak is the shame of our family.

“Now here everybody hate us, we are desperate, we can not even go to the shop, we live locked in the house, for fear of being lynched in the street. We lost everything, a son, home, dignity, everything.”

Jihadi terror manuals on how to use a car as a ‘tool of war’ for mass murder can be found in just two minutes on Google and Twitter

(DAILY MAIL) — Guides to mounting a car terror attack were available on Google and Twitter last night. The vile manuals were online despite widespread warnings that UK jihadists use them for training.

Fanatics are urged to deploy large vehicles as ‘tools of war’ before going on a stabbing rampage – the template for Wednesday’s atrocity in Westminster. Boris Johnson accused social media websites of inciting terrorism.

And Google’s YouTube video platform was found to be raking in money from conspiracy theories saying the London outrage was a hoax.

As the maniac behind the attack was unmasked as 52-year-old Khalid Masood:

The security services faced questions because he was known to police and MI5;
Home Secretary Amber Rudd denied failures but admitted: ‘One got through’;
It emerged MPs had raised concerns about the Commons gates Masood waltzed through;
Officials revealed that he was shot dead by a ministerial bodyguard, rather than by armed police;
Islamic State claimed Masood was its ‘soldier’;
Officers made eight arrests around the country;
The death toll rose to five when a 75-year-old man died in hospital last night.

Masood, a bodybuilder and violent criminal who claimed to have been a teacher, raced across Westminster Bridge on Wednesday in a hire car, smashing into pedestrians at up to 70mph, killing three and injuring 28.

Is Erdogan inciting a holy war Against Christian Europe?

(THE CLARION PROJECT) — By Meira Svirsky

Furious over the recent EU ruling that allows for banning the hijab in the workplace, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that Europe has started a “clash between the crescent and the cross.”

The remarks came just hours after Erdogan’s foreign minister warned that “holy wars” would soon start in Europe between Islam and Christianity (see below).

“Shame on the EU. Down with your European principles, values and justice,” Erdogan told supporters at a rally. “They started a clash between the cross and the crescent, there is no other explanation.”

In a ruling that upheld the dismissal of two Muslim women who refused to remove their headscarves at work, the European Court of Justice said businesses were allowed to prohibit the wearing of “any political, philosophical or religious sign.” The court further stated that such prohibitions can no longer be construed as discriminatory.

With Turkey embroiled in a row with The Netherlands over The Netherlands refusal to allow Turkish electioneering in The Netherlands, Erdogan’s Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu warned of a brewing holy war.

“Where are you taking Europe?” he asked, directing his commented to the government of The Netherlands. “It’s collapsing, it’s decaying. Soon there’s going to be a holy war. It’s going to start.”

Accusing the Netherlands of fascism across all their political parties — from the democrats to Geert Wilders’s anti-Islam party — Cavusoglu said, “All have the same mentality.”

Days earlier, Erdogan inflamed tensions, saying the Dutch government was “Nazi remnants, they are fascists.” He added, “I said I thought Nazism was over, but I was wrong. In fact, Nazism is alive in the West.”

Revving up the rhetoric against The Netherlands and Europe in general, Erdogan on Friday urged Turks in Europe to have five children, telling them, “You are Europe’s future.”

“From here I say to my citizens, I say to my brothers and sisters in Europe … Educate your children at better schools, make sure your family live in better areas, drive in the best cars, live in the best houses,” he added in a televised speech.

“Have five children, not three. You are Europe’s future. “This is the best answer to the rudeness shown to you, the enmity, the wrongs,” he said.

Beheadings and and Islamist stabbings in UK up 11-fold in five years

(BREITBART) — The rate of beheadings and Islamist-inspired stabbings has risen 11-fold in the last five years according to a major new report. Terror attacks in the UK also tripled during this period.

The 1000-page report by the Henry Jackson Society examines all terror convictions and suicide attacks inspired by Islamism in the UK between 1998 and 2015. It warns “Islamism-inspired terrorism remains the principal terrorism threat”.

The report recorded 269 convictions during the period, involving 253 individuals. 72 per cent of those who committed Islamism-related offenses (IROs) were British nationals. 16 per cent were converts to Islam.

The report states: “The 269 Islamism-related offenses (IROs) comprise 135 distinct terrorism cases.

“The rate of offending increased in the five-year period between 2011 and 2015 compared to the 13-year period between 1998 and 2010.

“IROs doubled in five years (increasing from an average of 12 to 23 per year) while distinct terrorism cases almost tripled (from five per year to 14 per year).”

Geert Wilders: Islam is not a religion, it’s a totalitarian ideology

(BREITBART) — by Donna Rachel Edmunds

Islam is a totalitarian ideology, not a religion, and therefore a Dutch constitutional commitment to freedom of religion shouldn’t apply to it, Geert Wilders has said.

In a wide-ranging interview recorded in January and broadcast at the weekend, the populist politician and leader of the Dutch Party for Freedom (PVV) said that although Islam has many of the trappings of religion, it shares more in common with totalitarian ideologies such as communism and fascism and should be treated as such.

“Not only is the Quran more full of anti-Semitism than Mein Kampf – another terrible book – ever was, but one token of proof of totalitarianism is that you are not allowed to leave. That’s the proof of totalitarianism,” he said.

“Islam as an ideology does not allow freedom. Look at almost all the countries in the world where Islam is dominant – you see a total lack of civil society, of rule of law, of freedom for journalists, women, Christians, or even somebody who wants to leave Islam, an apostate.

“You are allowed to leave Christianity or Judaism and become an atheist or the follower of another religion; you are not allowed to leave fascism, you are not allowed to leave Communism. And still today in Holland, in Germany, in the Arab world, the penalty is death if you want to leave Islam.

“That kind of thinking, that kind of violence within an ideology is something that we should not import.”

Conceding that his view was a minority view, and that the Netherlands’ constitution was unlikely to change should his party be victorious in upcoming elections, he clarified that his objection was to Islam as a body of ideas, not to Muslim people.
